Installation requires a Phillips screwdriver, pliers and six #6 fasteners (not included). Please Note: The Sirocco II Elite features a powerful and efficient brushless motor. When turning on the fan, there will be a slight hesitation before the blade starts to spin. IV. Slide fan base onto firmly secured backing plate. Secure fan to backing plate using the two provided screws. a) Slide fan onto backing plate. b) Secure with screws. Slide onto backing plate Secure with screws 2. Operation Ensure blade is clear of any obstructions that would cause it to jam. Lock fan arm in position before turning on. -

III. Timer The Sirocco II Elite is equipped with a timer feature that allows it to be set to a run time of 3, 6, 9 or 12 hours. To set the timer, press the Timer Button 1, 2, 3 or 4 times. The LED bar will light up beside the selected time and the fan will shut off when the timer setting expires. - Page 6 Overcurrent protection ensures protection against short circuit or damage to the motor. The Sirocco II Elite is equipped with Rotor-Lock protection. This feature protects the fan from overheating by automatically turning off the motor should an object obstruct the blade from spinning as it would under normal operation. The fan will automatically restart the motor every 30 seconds until the obstruction to the blade is removed and the blade is able to rotate normally.
