Troubleshooting

Problem
During use, the unit gives off a burning
smell.
The Iron Plate does not get hot.
The main body is partially deformed.
If the Power cord is bent or twisted,
sometimes the power turns off.
It takes time to reach operating temperature.
If problems still cannot be solved, contact the store where you purchased the unit or a service center authorized by Panasonic
for repair.

Possible cause
Dust etc. are adhered to the Iron Plate.
The cord is disconnected.
The time to reach operating
temperature (approximately 100 °C)
differs depending on the area.
100 - 130 V: about 60 seconds
220 - 240 V: about 15 seconds
Action
Clean the Iron Plate to
remove any adherents.
Stop using immediately.
Contact an authorized service
center for repair.
