All operation and calibration of the device must be carried out in compliance with the requirements
for protection from static electricity.
The device ensures safety in compliance with the requirements (rules, conditions) provided by the
operational documentation. The device meets the safety requirements prescribed in GOST 12.2.007.0
and GOST 12.2.003. The device belongs to the III class of electrical products according to the method
of human protection from electric shock according to GOST 12.2.007.0-75.
Before you start working with the device, you must ensure the integrity of the body,
keyboard(button) and display.
When transmitting to the consumer or during operation, the device may be in the following States:
"super sleep" - the state of the device during transportation to the consumer from the
manufacturer.
 "sleep" – the state of the device at the time of inactivity (lack of operation, for example,
between shifts) while the display does not have any symbols, except the remaining time of the
device.
 "work" – on the indicator of the device there are figures indicating the concentration of the
measured gases;
During transportation between the manufacturer and the consumer device is in the condition of ultra-
low energy consumption – able "superna". At the same time there is no indication on the display of the
device, but the circuits responsible for the state of the device sensors are activated. After activating the
device return to the state of "super sleep" is no longer possible; the countdown begins..
After the external inspection device must be taken out of the sleep state ("superna") by pressing the
button located on the front panel for an extended period of time. This action should be performed in a
safe atmosphere. After switching on the device within 5 seconds, gas sensors will be checked from the
condition that the device is turned on in an atmosphere with zero hazardous gases, and the oxygen
concentration is 20.9%, the display will be checked – all possible symbols will be displayed, the siren
will be checked by two short beeps - one "loud" and one "quiet", the vibration motor will be checked by
a single switch, all the light alarm indicators will be briefly turned on in series, the display backlight
will be briefly turned on. After checking the internal systems of the device, the device will go into the
display state of the concentration of the measured gases, and will run algorithms for calculating STEL
and TWA.
Attention!: The device in the transport package is connected to the calibration nozzle. Before
you start, you must remove the nozzle and connect to the PC , set the current date and time in the
device itself, for further correct display.
During operation of the device, you can cycle the displayed information on the screen by briefly
