MULTIGASSENS-М2 USER MANUAL Rev. 1.8 07.02.19 General Information This operation’s manual in coincidence with a passport, is a guide to the operation and maintenance of the portable gas analyser «МULTIGASSENS-М2» and contains descriptions of the principle of operation, technical characteristics and other information, necessary to ensure proper operation. The devices are designed to measure the concentration of combustible gases, volume fraction of oxygen and carbon monoxide, as well as the volume fraction of hydrogen sulphide.

MULTIGASSENS-М2 USER MANUAL Rev. 1.8 07.02.19 1.2 Functional principle of the device For CXHY measurement the device contains a high-capacity low-consuming optical sensor which functional principle is based on the preferential absorption of infrared radiation by molecules of hydrocarbons in the field of 3,3 - 3,4 microns wavelengths. For measurement of oxygen and toxic gases concentration the device contains sensors which utilise the measurement principle of electrochemical method.
