DS6405A ADDITIONAL HANDSET REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS
This additional handset has been designed to operate with the DS6475-2A telephone system. Please refer to your
DS6475-2A user's manual for instructions on general functionality.

Connect the Charger
The position in which you place the DS6405A charger could have an effect on the range and performance of
your DS6405A.

Plug one end of the power cable into the charger base.

Plug the other end into the power wall socket and switch the power on.
NOTE
Ensure power cord is fed through the slot on the charger so unit sits flush with the desk.
Install and Charge the Handset Battery

Place the supplied rechargeable battery in the battery compartment, with the battery connector plugged in, as
shown above.

Slide the battery compartment cover back on until it clicks into place.
3.
Place the handset on the charger to charge for at least 6 hours.
NOTES
•
Use only the supplied NiMH rechargeable battery.
•
If you do not use the handset for a long time, disconnect and remove the batteries to prevent possible leakage.
