EADER ARDWARE NSTALLATION AND PERATION HAPTER System Assembly and Bench Test Assembling the RFID Reader system is easy. We recommend you set up the system and verify its operation in a bench test configuration (shown below) before installing it in a production setting. The ALR-8800 power supply has a safety feature that turns the power supply off in the event that it detects an abnormal AC line condition. When this happens, the green LED on the power supply brick will not be lit.

1. Access an operational mode suitable for bench testing. Select a mode that will allow multiple consecutive reads of a single tag, such as Global Scroll if using the Alien Gateway software. Refer to the applicable software application user guide for specific instructions. -
