Installation Instructions
TT Series for Pipe Tracing
CONNECTINg TO POwER
For braided Cable
Remove 6" (15cm) of any optional overjacket.

Push the braid back to loosen it.

Approximately 6" (15cm) from the end of the

cable, spread the braid strands to create an
opening.
Detail 1.
Bend the cable at the opening, then pull the cable

through the opening to free the braid.
Twist the braid into a cold lead, then trim the cold

lead to remove the tapered end.
6. Insert the cable through the connector cap, the gland
washer, and the grommet, leaving 4" (10cm)
exposed from the end of the rubber grommet.
