Check band belt periodically. Tighten as necessary as follows: Remove key from engine, engine
is in neutral. Remove belt guard. Activate engine engage lever to observe linkage. NOTICE:
By loosening two bolts of clutch linkage to frame, you can then slide linkage as necessary to
adjust belt tension.
HINT: When machine is new or when putting on a new belt, apply a finger full of grease to
underside of belt.
NEVER PERFORM ANY SERVICE, MAINTENANCE OR REPAIR WHILE MACHINE
IS RUNNING.
