Formatting the memory card

Your memory card may already be formatted. If
not, you must format it before you can use it.
NOTE: All files on your memory card are deleted when
it is formatted.
1 On your home screen, touch the
Applications tab to open the applications
menu.
2 Scroll down and touch Settings.
3 Touch SD card & phone storage and touch
Unmount SD Card.
Touch Format SD card, then confirm your

choice.
5 If you set a pattern lock, enter it and select
Erase everything. The card will be formatted
and ready to use.
NOTE: If there is content on your memory card, the
folder structure may be different after formatting, as all
files will have been deleted.
