Risk of manual handling injuries. Suitable and adequate risk assessments should Mandatory be conducted before any work is carried out. Glazing Vision strongly advises that you use mechanical lifting aids to assist with installation and maintenance. Safe manual handling techniques and principles of prevention conforming with Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 (as amended Manual Handling Operations Regulations MHOR) must be used at all times. - Page 5 When using manual handling to manoeuvre products there is also the increased risk of damage • to them. 1. The Xvent should arrive on site in undamaged packaging, which includes cardboard, polyfoam glass protection and low tack tape. Please inspect for damage to packaging and/or product and advise Glazing Vision within 48 hours from signing the receipt of your delivery of any damage or shortfall. - Page 7 Nothing in this manual constitutes a structural proposal. 11. Glazing Vision strongly recommends a ‘dry run’ (without any silicone) before committing to the final installation.

3. Carefully lift the product to the roof using strops underneath the wooden build frame (spreader bars will be needed – Glazing Vision recommends a 1 over 2 spreader arrangement but please consult with your lifting specialist).
