• What is ID-Lock Smart? ID-Lock Smart is a lock system that prevents unwanted access to rooms in a nursing home or similar indoor environments. It is not designed for high security applications, such as external doors to a resident home or office.
ID-Lock Smart Installation guide - Ver. 1.3 How does ID-Lock Smart work? The IDT, which is mounted next to each door, is transmitting an RF signal with a zone-ID that is unique to each door. The signal has a range of approx. 1 to 1.5 meters. The IDT RF signal is marked in in the illustration below.

In addition to this, you may need a large cutter or hacksaw to cut the screws. You will also need wires and a power supply for the TM2-box and IDT, some means of fastening the TM2-box (see below for an example) and finally the ID-Lock Config app for Android.
ID-Lock Smart Installation guide - Ver. 1.3 Carelock ACE Split has the optional feature that it will unlock the door 10 seconds after it loses its Bluetooth connection to the TM2-box. The idea behind this feature, which is enabled by default, is to function as a security measurement in case of fire; you connect the TM2-box’s power supply to a power source that will be cut off by the fire alarm.

Step 20 Mount the new handles from the ID-Lock Smart kit, starting with the inside of the door. You may have to cut the screws to fit the thickness of your door. It is easier to start with one screw already threaded through the handle (the right-hand screw in the picture below) or both screws, before you try to push the screws through the door.
