6. Replace the code chamber plate carefully with the 4 red screws.
7. Check the operation of the new code, and make a written note of it before re-installing the lock.
8. When re-fitting the lock to the door, note that the spindle is in two parts, with a spring on each part.
One spindle part has BLUE colour on one face, and the other has RED. If your door is hinged on the
right then the BLUE spindle is fitted to the outside, with the coloured face on TOP, and the RED spindle
is fitted to the inside with the colour on TOP. On doors hinged on the left the spindles are fitted the other
way around, with the colours on TOP
Maintenance
No maintenance of the working parts is necessary. DO NOT OIL. To maintain the finish the lock should
be cleaned regularly with a soft cloth. A silicone spray or similar should be used to provide a protective
film against grit and grime.
