2) After the bag fills with dust, empty the contents of the dust bag into a dust bin by releasing the zipper.
WORKING HINTS FOR YOUR POWER TOOL
1. During "blowing" operation, take care that no debris/ impurities can be drawn into the air intake.
2. Never vacuum without a dust bag.
3. Do not vacuum sharp-edged or hot materials, such as glass splinters, hot ash or metal chips.
4. When vacuuming, empty the dust bag regularly. Observe the environmental regulations when
disposing waste.

MAINTENANCE

Warning : Remove the plug from the socket before carrying out any adjustment, servicing
or maintenance.
1. Keep the power tool ventilation slots clean and free from obstructions. If available, blow compressed
air into the vents to clear any internal dust (safety goggles must be worn when undertaking this
process).
2. Never use water or chemical cleaners to clean your power tool. Wipe clean with a dry cloth.
3. Your power tool requires no additional lubrication.
4. Always store your power tool in a dry place.
5. The motor employs carbon brushes which are consumable parts. Since an excessively worn carbon
brush results in motor trouble. To inspecting or replacing the carbon brushes, use a screwdriver to
remove the brush holder caps (See Fig 5). Take out the carbon brushes. If it becomes worn to or near
"wear limit" (See Fig 6), replacing the new ones, reinstall the holder cap firmly.
Note: Both carbon brushes should be replaced at the same time. Use only identical carbon brushes.
Keep the carbon brushes clean and free to slip in the holders.
6. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

TROUBLESHOOTING

1. If your power tool will not operate, check the power at the mains plug, or check the carbon brushes.
2. If a fault can't be rectified, return the power tool to an authorized dealer for repair.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION

Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste. Please recycle
where facilities exist. Check with your Local Authority or retailer for recycling advice.
