For safety reason the motor unit will automatically switch off, if it will overheat.
The maximum operating time is 1 hour.

Preparing Hints

To make soft ice cream it will take 30 up to 50 minutes. The preparation time
depends on the personal taste, the recipe and the ambient temperature.
Do to use more than 600 ml for all ingredients. The mixture will increase in
volume during preparing the soft ice cream. You will get up to approx. 750 ml
soft ice cream per freezer bowl. Do not overfill the freezer bowl because the
mixture cannot be stirred evenly and the soft ice cream will freeze on the wall
of the freezer bowl. Let the stirrer rotate until the ice cream is ready.
Do not fill commercial ice cream or hard ingredients such as nuts, candied
fruits, chocolate chips etc. into the bowl. If you use fresh of thawed fruits, cut
them into small pieces. Please note that hard ingredients may damage the
motor unit.
You can store leftover soft ice cream in the ice cream maker for 20 minutes,
just cover the freezer bowl. Or, preferably place the freezer bowl in the
refrigerator to store the soft ice cream for 30 minutes.
If you want to deep-freeze ice cream, observe the following hints:
The taste will get lost during long storing time. Do not freeze ice cream for a
long period of time, as its soft consistency will change after two weeks and
the fresh taste get lost.
Store ice cream in clean and airtight containers in the freezer. Storing
temperature has to be at least – 18°C. Write the preparing date on the airtight
container.
Take frozen ice cream out of the freezer only 10 – 15 minutes before serving
and let it thaw in room temperature.
Note: Ice cream is susceptible to germs. Always keep the appliance and the
accessories clean. If you have thawed ice cream do not freeze it again.
