Before first Use

Carefully remove the ice cream maker and the accessory from the packaging.
Dispose of unnecessary packing materials. Keep plastic bags away from infants.
There is danger of suffocation!
Before using the first time clean all parts of the ice cream maker as described in
the chapter "Cleaning" on page 18. Clean the freezer bowl and dry it thoroughly.

Preparing

1. Rinse the freezer bowls in lukewarm water and detergent and dry the bowls
thoroughly. The freezer bowls have to be completely dry to avoid ice crystals.
2. Place the freezer bowls with the opening upright into a *** freezer or top-
opening freezer for at least 12 hours.
3. The freezer bowls have to be empty and not covered. The minimum freezing
temperature has to be -18°C (0 F). If you leave the freezer bowls at all time in
the freezer, they will be always ready for use. Take the freezer bowls out of
the freezer and shake them. If you do not hear any liquid moving inside the
bowls, the bowls are ready for use.
Observe the freezing times (guide lines) for the freezer bowls
If the temperature in the freezer is about
- 30°C the freezing time is at least 8 hours.
- 25°C the freezing time is at least 12 hours.
- 18°C the freezing time is at least 20 hours.
Recommendation:
Prepare the mixture one day before using and store the mixture in the
refrigerator. If the ingredients are already mixed, preparing the soft ice will not
take long time and you will get best result.
