MULTILUBE – SYSTEM TROUBLESHOOTING
1 SYSTEM TROUBLESHOOTING
1.1 Control unit does not operate
1.1.1 User interface does not operate
Operation disturbance
Display and LED signals of user
interface are not lit.
1.1.2 Control center does not operate
Operation disturbance
Green LED-signal of control
center is not lit.
1.2 Control unit triggers an alarm
1.2.1 User interface triggers an alarm
Operation disturbance
The red P LED-signal of user
interface is blinking.
The red LED-signal for line is
blinking at the user interface.
Alarm, low pressure on display.
The pressure shown at pressure
control unit is below the set
pressure high limit value.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Cause of operation disturbance
No supply voltage on pumping
unit.
Cause of operation disturbance
Main switch of the control center
is in OFF-position.
The fuse has blown.
The LED-signal has blown.
Cause of operation disturbance
Lubricant reservoir is empty.
The lubricant has stiffened in the
piping because of the operating
conditions (e.g. cold, heat).
Header piping leaks.
There is air in the pumping unit.
There is air in the header piping.
Solution
Check supply voltage.
Solution
Turn the main switch to ON-
position.
Replace the fuse.
Replace the LED-signal.
Solution
Fill the lubricant reservoir.
Reset the alarm.
Set the maximum pressurization
time longer or change the lubricant
for an appropriate lubricant.
Locate and repair the leakage.
Remove air from the pumping unit:
1. Disconnect header piping
connectors.
2. Start pumping unit
3. Open pumping element
deaerating screw.
4. Pump until only lubricant (no
air) is coming out of the
deaerating screw.
5. Tighten the deaerating screw.
6. Connect header piping
connectors.
Remove air from the header and
branch piping.
Reset the alarm.
