Assembly
1. Place the profile seal (9)in the groove of the housing (8).
2. Thread the union nut (1) and the appropriate seal onto the bus cable.
–
Cable diameter 5... 8 mm: fit the inner seal (3) and the outer seal (2) together,
–
Cable diameter 7...10 mm: use only the outer seal (2).
3. Remove the insulation from the end of the bus cable and push back the screening
braiding on the cable sleeve.
4. Insert the bus cable into the housing (8) and clamp the cable screening with the clamping strap (7)
and clamping strap screws (6) to the contact surface of the printed circuit bourd. The screening braiding
must be clamped flush under the clamping strap.
5. Screw the union nut (1) and the outer seal (2) resp. (2), (3), (4), to the housing (8).
6. Connect the cores of the bus cable in acccordance with the pin assignment on the terminal strip.
See labelling on the printed circuit board. You can lock and unlock the clamping strap by shifting the
unlocking slide.
7. Close the cover. Screw on the housing (8) with the countersunk screw (10), tightening torque: 0.5 Nm.
8. Insert the screws (5) as far as possible into the housing (8) and screw them tight with a screwdriver
(tightening torque: 0.5 Nm).
