INDUCTION GRILL PLATE

Cleaning and maintenance

• Never use the plate on the boost function. Never allow the plate to
stand on an activated hob for long periods without food.
The plate could then quickly reach temperatures of 300 °C.
Oil and fat on the surface of the plate could quickly start to burn at
these high temperatures. This could damage the non-stick coating.
• An indication of the hob's pre-heat time in setting 9 is 3-4 minutes
to reach a temperature of around 180°C.
• The integrated handles can become extremely hot. Always use
oven mitts or gloves!
• Allow the plate to cool down after use.
• Dry the plate well after cleaning. This prevents oxidisation.
• Never use a metal sponge, bleach or scouring agents for cleaning.
• Allow the plate to cool prior to cleaning. This prevents cold water
from deforming the plate.
• For mild cleaning, use hot water, a small amount of washing-
up liquid and a dish cloth. It is best to clean the grooves with a
washing-up brush.
• Do not clean the plate in the dishwasher. This can cause the plate
to discolour or oxidise.
• Acids released when cooking spicy or marinated food may be
absorbed into the plate's surface. This can result in discolouration
or staining. This will not affect the plate's working.
