If You Need Service Or Assistance
We suggest you follow these
steps:
1. Before calling for assistance

Performance
problems often result from little
things you can find and fix yourself without tools
of any kind.
If your dehumidifier
will not operate:
l
Is the power supply cord plugged into a live
circuit with proper voltage? (See page 4.)
l
Have you checked your home's main fuses or
circuit breaker box?
l
Is the Fan Control set to OFF?
If your dehumidifier
blows fuses or trips the
circuit
breaker:
l
Is a time-delay fuse being used? Is it of the
correct capacity?
l
Is an extension cord being used? Do not use
an extension
cord.
l
Are coils iced over or clogged with lint?
If the dehumidifier
coils are iced over:
l
Room humidity is too low. Turn unit off.
l
Is room temperature
too low? (See "De-icer
control" on page 7.)
9 Is the filter dirty?
If water collects
on the floor:
l
Is the unit level?
l
Is the drain hose (if used) kinked?
l
Is the drain clogged?
l
Is the water pan overflowing?
Special dehumidifier
needs:
l
Annual inspection
Clean filter and coils, inspect drain and hoses.

When moving, keep the unit in an upright
