Commissioning
Warning
S Ensure that, in the movement range of
the MAS−...:
no−one stands under the moving mass
(e.g. by using protective guards)
there are no foreign objects present.
The MAS−... should only be touched once
the mass is in a stable position.
With MAS−...−K with force locking:
Please note
Forces that are too high will trigger the MAS−... safety functions.
S Ensure that the forces produced are within the permitted range (see the
Technical Data). If the maximum permitted force is exceeded, the com
pressed air will leak from the MAS−... connection flange.
If the maximum permitted forces are complied with, then the MAS−... is ready
for use (provided that the MAS−... was not damaged by the overload).
With all MAS−...:
Start a test run at a low working frequency as follows:
S
1. Slowly pressurize the muscle (e.g. with the safety start−up valve).
2. Make sure on the MAS−... that:
The required motion sequence is observed.
The contraction is within the permitted tolerance
(max. 25 % of rated length).
The required force is reached / the load is lifted.
There is no leakage.
Conclude the test run.
