Safety

• If the product is not to be used for an extended period
the batteries should be removed. Batteries left in
the product have the potential to leak and cause damage.
• Do not mix battery types or old and new batteries.
• The product is intended for indoor use only. The product
must not be exposed to rain or high humidity.
• The individual LED lights cannot be replaced.

Inserting batteries

1. Slide the battery cover in the direction of the arrow and
remove it.
2. Insert 3 × AA/LR6 1.5 V batteries (sold separately) in
accordance with the markings in the battery box.
3. Refit the battery cover onto the battery box.

Mains adaptor
The string light can also be
powered by a mains AC/
DC adaptor (sold separately).
A compatible mains adaptor
is Clas Ohlson Art.no
36-5777/18-2925. Plug the DC
connector into the socket
indicated by the arrow.
If a mains adaptor is used,
the batteries are automatically
circumvented to save
their power.

Operating instructions

Operation using the power switch
• Continuously on or off.
• Set the selector switch to either ON to switch the light on,
or OFF to switch it off.
Operation using the timer function
• 6 hours on and 18 hours off in a continuous cycle.
• Set the selector switch to the TIMER position. The string
light will stay switched on for 6 hours and then switch
off for 18 hours before it comes on again and shines for
6 hours, and so on. This operating cycle will continue until
the batteries are discharged or until the selector switch is
set to either OFF or ON.

Care and maintenance

Clean the string light using a soft, damp cloth. Use a mild
cleaning agent – never use a solvent or strong, abrasive
cleaning agent as these could damage the string light.
Disposal
The star lamp should be disposed of in accordance with local
regulations. If you are unsure how to proceed, contact your
local council.
