- Page 2 Introduction This is the replacement control console for the DXE-TFS4-series Hybrid Four-Square Controllers. The DX Engineering Four-Square Control Console four directional momentary contact switches, an Omni switch, and four green LED's (light emitting diodes) to show the systems current transmit and receive direction.
- Page 3 • While in the OMNI mode, a new direction may be selected immediately by pushing its corresponding switch. The omnidirectional option in the DXE-CC-4SQR Control Console is only functional when using the control console with DX Engineering Transmit Four Square systems.
- Page 4 Power ON Relay Exercise The Transmit Four Square Control Console has a factory default program installed to exercise the relays throughout the system when power is turned on. When the unit is properly connected and power is turned on, the first and last LED will blink for approximately 6 seconds. While the LEDs are blinking, all of the relays in the system are being turned on and off to ensure the relays are kept in peak operating performance.
- Page 5 Four Square Control Console Direction Label A custom label with various compass directions is included for the Four Square Control Console. You may either write the directions on the white blocks that are on the face of the Four Square Control Console, or you can use the custom label that is included.
- Page 6 Four Square Control Console Rear Panel Figure 2 12 VDC A standard 2.1 mm plug connection for 12 Vdc. The current draw ranges from 30 mA to 700mA depending on the direction selected. If station power is used, it must be 12 Vdc at 1 amp (fused) minimum.
- Page 7 PE (polyethylene) jacket for long lasting direct burial to make the connection from the Transmit Four Square Control Console to the DX Engineering Transmit Four Square System Phasing Unit. Wire A to A, B to B, C to C, and either G to either G (both Gs are Ground).
