Transport and Storage
• Never transport the unit in another vehicle when it has fuel in its tank. Petrol
fumes exuded from the winch could ignite, causing an explosion and
endangering health. Transport the machine in an upright position in a separate
container.
• Empty the tank before transporting the winch and allow the motor to run so
that all of the fuel in the carburettor is also used up.
• To store the winch, for example, over the winter, empty the tank and allow the
motor to run so that all of the fuel in the carburettor is also used up.
• Clean the entire machine thoroughly and apply silicone or MoS2 oil to the
drive shaft.
• Protect the completely cooled motor by pouring approx. 1 tablespoonful of
motor oil into the spark plug openings. Then slowly pull on the starter cord
pommel whilst covering the spark plug openings with a cloth. This serves to
distribute the oil around the inner workings of the motor itself (the cylinder and
the crankcase).
Then screw in the spark plugs (do not replace the spark plug cap!) and slowly
pull on the starter cord pommel until you feel the motor begin to resist.
