- Page 3 PS-011 MANUAL 1. INTRODUCING THE PS-011 With the PS-011 programmer it is now possible to program different product lines of ALCAD equipment using wireless communication. This is an advanced programmer with a simple user interface. As well as an infrared connection, it is equipped with a USB port for connecting a memory stick or an SD card reader.

PS-011 MANUAL 3. BASIC CONCEPTS 3.1. Charging and Changing Batteries Before turning on the remote for the first time, make sure that the rechargeable batteries are positioned correctly. When you have done this, connect the programmer to the mains supply and leave it connected until a complete charging cycle has been completed. - Page 5 PS-011 MANUAL 3.2. Handling the PS-011. Basic Functions of the PS-011. On/off: the PS-011 programmer is turned both on and off by pressing the key once. . It can also be turned off from any of its screens. When the programmer is turned off, the screen automatically becomes blank.

Select Series: gives access to the programming options of various types of ALCAD equipment. b. NIT table /NIT table reset: includes all the options related to generating and deleting the NIT table of an installation.
- Page 7 PS-011 MANUAL 3.5 PS programmer information By selecting PS programmer information in the Main Menu, you can see a list of all hardware and software versions of the PS, as well as the current version of the Operating System and of the product lines which can be programmed.
- Page 8 Format USB flash drive 4.3. Series Management The PS-011 programmer makes it possible to program different types of modules. ALCAD modules are distributed in series, depending on the family of products to which they belong. To keep them up to date and to manage them more easily, series can be added and deleted in accordance with the requirements of individual clients.

MANAGING ALCAD PROGRAMMABLE SERIES The PS-011 programmer allows the user to configure and to program ALCAD devices designed for infrared communication. A list of the series which can be programmed using the remote control is displayed on the screen by choosing Select series from the Main menu.
- Page 11 7.1. Loading Series In order to load a new series: 1. Download the file for the series which you wish to add from our website (www.alcad.net). 2. Copy the .so file to an SD card or to a USB memory stick.

Concept of Installation for PS-011 Using the programmer it is possible to save and load configurations from one installation in order to re-use these same parameters in another installation. The PS-011 Programmer does not distinguish between installations with a single module and installations with several modules.

When the configuration of a module is saved, the programmer automatically saves the series to which the module belongs. So far, the configuration file that has been generated has only one module.
