ON / CHRG – Up to Run and Down to Charge
o CHRG disconnects the batteries
o Cannot Run and Charge at the same time
•
Ground Jack to Earth Ground (Aluminum plates)
•
LED – Lit when charging
•
+V/OUT – Charging and USB OUT port
o USB out supports 16 bit 44.1 and 48kHz
Operating Instructions
•
Charging
o Connect the USB mini cable between the rear USB +V
connector and the USB Charge Block
o AC power Charge Block with the rear switch down
(CHRG)
o Charge until rear LED is not lit
o The USB cable / Charge Block can now be disconnected
•
Connect the Ground lug to an Earth Ground for shielding
o The Mini has no Earth Ground and cannot be used by
itself to shield the tone arm. See Page 2
•
Set the front MM / MC switches to match the cartridge
• Use a 3.5mm Phone RCA Cable or Adapter to connect the
tonearm to the Front IN jack
•
Use a 3.5mm Phone RCA Cable or Adapter to connect the
Preamp / Amplifier to the Front OUT jack
•
Place the rear ON switch in the up position
•
To record, connect the USB mini cable from the rear OUT
connector to the PC and set the PC input to USB Codec
(Windows Device Manager, Mac Midi). Mini must be ON

MM – Both switches up for 44dB gain 47K loading
• MC – Both switches down for 63dB gain 100 ohm loading
•
IN – 3.25mm Phone to RCA cable to tonearm
•
OUT – 3.25mm Phone to RCA cable to preamp / amplifier
•
ON – Power level indicator. Charge when out or barely lit
• Run Time – 8 to 10 hours
•
Charge Time – 3 to 4 hours (Status light on back)
•
Headroom – 9dB with .72vrms out
Cautions Warranty
•
Do not expose the Phono to liquids or to temperature
extremes as deemed by Swan Song Audio
•
Electromagnetic interference may affect the performance
•
Do not charge with more than 5 volts DC via USB
•
Clean metal with "Windex" and a micro cloth
• The warranty period is 1 year from the date of purchase for
manufacturing defects and not for wear and tear caused by
usage or negligence, as deemed by Swan Song Audio
•
Opening is only permitted to change the battery back using
the instructions supplied with the battery
•
Follow all LION Battery precautions
• Violating the cautions voids the warranty
•
The unit can only be serviced by directly or with instructions
from Swan Song Audio
•
Contact Swan Song Audio for service or any warranty
questions
•
Repairs deemed by Swan Song Audio as outside the
warranty will be handled by Swan Song Audio at the owners
expense
