SWAN SONG AUDIO LLC Connections To connect the Cygnet, please perform the following steps. It is suggested that you first adjust the gain levels to your own personal satisfaction with the power off and in a well-lit accessible area. Connect the MIDI and AC cables to the power supply module. -
Page 7: Phono-Cartridge Amplifier Matching
The Cygnet provides 36 different gain settings or 32-61db (36 steps) in standard mode and 52-81db (36 steps) with the optional built-in transformers. - Page 8 SWAN SONG AUDIO LLC is number 1. For each opamp this provides the lowest amount of gain. A jumper in position two provides higher gain; with both jumpers, maximum gain from that stage is obtained. Always choose the option with the most gain from the first stage.

Page 9: Compensating For The Signal Chain
Remove the top from the Phono Preamp module using a Philips screwdriver to loosen the 8 screws. The first black shaft, on the left when facing the Cygnet, is the upper midrange RIAA setting. Adjusting this to the right will increase the gain of all frequencies above 2122hz. -

SWAN SONG AUDIO LLC Loading Load levels in the Cygnet are set by setting switches inside the standard or by rotating the loading knob on the front of the Cygnet SE. The loading levels are different for phono-preamplifiers with transformers versus for those without. This is due to two reasons: The transformer divides the loading levels by a factor of 100. -

What is covered: Power Supply and Phono Preamp Modules. Except as otherwise provided herein, Swan Song Audio warrants that the Power Supply and Phono Preamp Modules will be free from defects in materials and workmanship when used under normal conditions. - Page 13 What Swan Song Audio will ask you to do: After contacting Swan Song Audio, you may be required to deliver (by hand if you prefer) or send the Phono Preamp and/or Power Supply Modules properly packaged, to the Swan Song Audio Service Center together with a photocopy of your bill of sale or return authorization number.
- Page 14 Product is entitled to warranty coverage. Your credit card will be charged up to the cost of a new Product only if: o You do not return your original Product to Swan Song Audio within five (5) business days.
- Page 15 This Limited Warranty (and Swan Song Audio’s obligation to you) may not be changed in any way unless you and Swan Song Audio sign the same piece of paper in which we (1) refer to the Phono Preamp and/or Power Supply modules and your bill of sale date, (2) describe the change to this warranty and (3) agree to make that change.
