SET UP INSTRUCTIONS
MAXIM EZ WALK (Models MW1230B, MW1330H, MW-
1230BE, MW1330HE) IS FULLY ASSEMBLED EXCEPT
FOR HANDLES.
1. Remove top boards of crate.
2. Retrieve hardware bag from crate. Bag will contain the
following:
Quantity 6 -- 5/16 X 3/4 bolts
Quantity 6 -- lockwashers
Quantity 6 -- 5/16" nuts
Quanity 4 – fl at washers
3. Cut plastic zip ties securing handles to crate.
4. Lift handles at handle bolts and fold back over the en-
gine. Cables are already connected.
5. Fasten handlebars and support brackets with bolts in
hardware bag.
6. Install shifter rod to the transmission assembly with
provide clevis pin and cotter pin. (Image #1) Rear cover
plate must also be installed at this time (Image #2).
7. Install throttle cable to control panel with provided
screws.
8. After handle is installed, remove sides of crate and
remove U-bolts in bottom of pallet. Put transmission in
neutral position, and roll mower off of pallet.
9. Check all nuts and bolts to be sure they are secure.
10. Check rubber fuel line to be sure it is connected to
engine and tank. (Image #3)
11. Check oil in engine. See engine owner's manual for
instructions.
ENGINE IS SHIPPED WITHOUT OIL.
CHECK ENGINE OIL AND ADD ACCORD-
ING TO ENGINE MANUAL.
