While maintaining positive pressure on the Edge Guide, push the Driver Drill down to engage the bit
and screw. Depress the drill trigger and, running the drill at full RPM, drive the screw applying pressure
throughout. DO NOT FORCE THE SCREW. Allow the screw to spin and auger the surface. After a moment,
the screw will grab and pull into the board. The drill collar will meet the Extension Pole when the screw is
fully seated. You cannot overdrive the screw. When driven fully and correctly, the finished position of the
screw should be just below the surface of the edge as shown.

Repeat down the length of the board. The Edge Pro
feed into place.

If the abutting board runs parallel to the house /structure, it may be necessary to face fasten the edge
abutting the structure. If so, we recommend using 2-1/2'' x #7 CAMO
Screws. To avoid face fastening, use galvanized "L Brackets" to fasten the board from below.

8. Repeat down the length of the board until the entire plank is installed. Do not skip any joists.
9. Repeat for remaining deckboards.
FULLY DRIVEN
Place the next deckboard in position and push tight to the board abutting the
structure. Repeat Steps 1-3 above down the length of the board.
For the inside edge of the deckboard, align the Level Guide with the joist below
the deckboard, positioning the Edge Guide between the two adjoining deckboards.
Make sure that the Level Guide is flat with the surface of the deckboard and the
Edge Guide is firmly against the radius of the edge of the deckboard. The Edge Pro
should remain tight against the board to avoid tool movement or push back, as this
can alter the angle and depth of drive. Firm pressure is required.
