Maximum cooling

With Maximum cooling, the cooling compartment or
freezer compartment are chilled to the coldest
temperature for the specified period of time. The
temperature is then automatically changed to the
temperature that was previously set.
Maximum cooling of the cooling compartment
Maximum cooling of the cooling compartment is
particularly recommended:
Before putting a large amount of food in the cooling

compartment.
To cool drinks quickly.

Maximum cooling of the freezer compartment
Food should be frozen thoroughly as quickly as
possible. This ensures that vitamins, nutritional values,
the look and the taste of the food is retained.
When placing fresh food in the freezer, to ensure that
the temperature is correct, switch on Maximum
cooling a few hours beforehand. In general,
4 ‐ 6 hours is sufficient. If the max. freezing capacity is
to be used, the Maximum cooling should be switched
on 24 hours before you place the new food in the
freezer.
Smaller quantities of food can be frozen without using
Maximum cooling.
Switching Maximum cooling on and off
Tap:

1. Tap "Not now".
Note!
With "Activate automatic pre-cooling", you can have
Maximum cooling automatically start at regular
intervals to coincide with when you do your weekly
shopping. See chapter "Settings", section "Automatic
pre-cooling".
If you select "Do not show note again", the next menu
screen is displayed immediately the next time you call
it.

2. Select the area for Maximum cooling. If nothing is
selected, Maximum cooling is switched off.
