Switching on the appliance

1. Use the on/off button to switch the appliance on.
The screen displays an information window and an
audible signal sounds.
2. Tap "OK" to switch off the warning signal. The
screen shows the basic display.
The preset temperatures are reached after several
hours. Do not put any food in the appliance before
these temperatures are reached.
The factory has recommended and set the following
temperatures:
Cooling compartment:
Freezer compartment: -18 °C
How to proceed after switching on the
appliance for the first time
After switching on the appliance for the first time, you
should make the following settings (see chapter
"Settings").
1. Select the language for the display text.
2. Set the current date and time.
3. Set the temperature unit.

Select one of the preset temperature
settings
Normal operation
Recommended and set by the factory.
Energy-saving
Lower energy requirement. The storage life of the food
may be shorter than what is specified in the storage
recommendation.
Maximum storage life
The storage life of the food is longer than what is
specified in the storage recommendation. The energy
requirement increases.
Holiday
Energy-saving holiday mode for long periods of
absence.
Do not store any food in the cooling compartment
during this time.
Setting the temperature individually
1. Tap "Individual". An information window is
displayed.
2. Tap "OK".
3. Tap the required temperatures. The selected values
are displayed in red.
4. Tap "OK".
The system saves the values that are set.
The basic display shows the selected temperature
setting.
