7. Battery

Before first use charge the battery for 8 hours.
The battery does not have to be removed from the machine
to be charged. If the battery is damaged in any way do not
charge it. The battery must be replaced.
To charge the battery first remove the safety key. Then
attach the charger connector onto the battery socket.
For charging with the battery away from the machine you
should first remove the safety ked, then raise the handle
and lift the battery clear of the machine. Place the battery
on a flat, non-slip surface, and plug the charger connector
onto the side of the battery socket.
To refit he battery lower it into the top of the machine.
Ensure that the handle is pressed down.
The charge indicating Led is red when the battery is being
charged and turns green when the battery is fully charged.
Charge the battery after each use and for every 3 month
if stored. the battery will not be damaged if it is charged
for longer than 8 hours.
Only us the charger supplied with this machine. Use of
other chargers may cause damage and will affect your
guarantee.

8. Cutting height adjustment

Remove battery before charging.
Adjustment must be carried out on level
ground. Remove the grass bin to get easy
access to the adjustment screws.
Loosen the screws on both sides of the
adjustment bar. Adjust height with both hands
ensuring that the two screws are at the same
height when being moved. Re-screw both
sides ensuring that the screws are properly
secured and at the same height.
