Verwendung
Der Füllstandgrenzschalter Nivector FTC 968 wird zur
Grenzstanddetektion von pulverigen und feinkörnigen
Schüttgütern folgender Art verwendet:
• Korngröße ø < 10 mm
• relative Dielektrizitätskonstante ε
Der Einbauadapter Protector (siehe Zubehör Seite 8) dient
als Abrasions- und Auslaufschutz, wenn der Nivector als
unterer Grenzstandschalter Dauerberührung mit dem Füll-
gut hat.
Die Ausführung Nivector FTC 968 Z ist einsetzbar im
staubexplosionsgefährdeten Bereich Zone 10 (behälter-
seitig) bzw. Zone 11 (anschlußseitig).

Einbau Der Nivector kann sowohl in einen Metallbehälter als auch in einen Kunststoffbehälter eingebaut werden. Er muß dabei mit oder ohne den Einbauadapter Protector m m i i n n d d e e s s t t e e n n s s 20 20 mm mm in den Schüttgutbehälter ragen. -

Elektrischer Anschluß Für die Wechselstromausführung genügen zwei Adern (L L 1 1 , N N ), für die Gleichstromausführung drei Adern (L L + + , L L - - , P P N N P P ). Die Gleichstromausführung hat einen einge- bauten Verpolungsschutz und ist kurzschlußfest. - Page 5 Sicherheitsschaltung Der Nivector kann als oberer oder unterer Grenzschalter mit Sicherheitsschaltung eingesetzt werden. Sicherheits- schaltung heißt, daß bei Erreichen eines Grenzstands (» » v v o o l l l l « « oder » » l l ee eer r « « ) in einen stromlosen Zustand geschal- tet wird.

Installation The Nivector can be mounted in metal as well as in plastic vessels. It must, however, project into the vessel a a t t l l ea eas s t t 20 20 mm with or without the Protector mounting adapter. The transparent connection area cover with cable gland can be rotated in any position. -

Electrical Connection For the AC version, two wires are required (L L 1 1 , N N ), while for the DC version, three wires (L L + + , L L - - , P P N N P P ). The DC version has an integrated protection against reversed polarity and short-circuit. -
