To adjust the bass:

1. Press the MENU button.
2. Select "BASS" by pressing the

To adjust the treble:
You cannot adjust when the bass setting is "BASS OFF".
The treble cannot be adjusted with the remote control.

Group playback

You can play back tracks by group (artists, albums, etc.), if the
MiniDisc is group-recorded.
1. Insert a group-recorded MiniDisc.
The unit automatically enters the group mode.
2. Press the button.
Non-grouped tracks will be played after grouped tracks.
Note:
Group playback is not possible in the favorite track playback
mode (including repeat).
To specify the group:
1. During playback or in the stop mode, press the GROUP but-
ton.

2. Within 5 seconds, select a group by pressing the
button.
To cancel the group mode:
In the stop mode, hold down the GROUP button for 2 seconds
or more. Tracks will be played in recorded order regardless of the
group.
Press the GROUP button again for 2 seconds or more to enable
the group mode.
Note:
The GROUP button does not work in the favorite track playback
mode (including repeat). To cancel the group mode, change the
playback mode first.
