Power tools are dangerous in the hands of
untrained users.
20. Keep the power tools in good condition. Check
that moving parts are functioning smoothly and
do not lock, whether parts are broken or for any
other condition that may affect the power tool's
operation. If damaged, have the power tool
repaired before use. Many accidents are
associated with poorly maintained power tools.
21. Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly
maintained tools are likely to block less and are
easier to control.
22. Use the power tool, the accessories, bits, etc. in
accordance with these instructions and in the
manner intended for the particular type of
equipment. Take into account the working
conditions and the work to be performed. Using
power tools for operations different from those
intended can lead to hazardous situations.

2.5 Maintenance and Service

23. Have your power tool serviced by a qualified
repair workshop using only original replacement
parts. This will ensure that after repairs the
safety of the power tool is maintained.
24. Damaged cords must be replaced by our after-
sales service.
25. If a power plug is damaged, it must be replaced
by a special spare plug provided by our after-
sales service. If the supply cord of the tools is
damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord,
which is available from the manufacturer or its
after-sales service. The replacement of the
connecting cord must be carried out by our
after-sales service or by a qualified repair
workshop.
2.6 Additional safety instructions for
electrically operated mixing units
26. Use the auxiliary handles that come with the
tool. Losing control over the tool can result in
personal injury.
27. Grip the tool by the insulated gripping surfaces
when carrying out any work where the tool may
come in contact with hidden wiring or its own
cord. A contact with a live wire can cause the
metal parts of the tool to become live which
poses the risk of electric shock.
28. Always fasten the mixer element properly and
securely on the drive shaft; by all means,
remove the adjustment tool before operating
the power tool.
29. Under no circumstances should you mix
explosive or flammable substances.
30. When mixing, always wear the appropriate
personal protective equipment such as safety
glasses, ear protection, resistant gloves and a
respirator.
31. Do not use this tool to prepare food, as it cannot
be cleaned in a way that would comply with
relevant hygiene regulations.

2.7 Residual risks

Even if used properly, residual risks can exist even
if the relevant safety regulations are complied with
due to the design determined by the intended
purpose.
Residual risks can be minimized if the "Safety
instructions" and the "Normal intended use" as well
as the whole of the operating instructions are
observed.
Observing these instructions, and taking proper
care, will reduce the risk of personal injury or
damage to the equipment.
32. Failure to observe the safety precautions can
lead to injury to the operator or damage to
property.
33. Contact with the rotating drill chuck (risk of
bruises).
34. Reaching in the rotating beater (risk of cuts)
35. Risk from electricity, by using non-standard
electrical connections.
36. Touching live parts of opened electrical
components.
37. Impairment of hearing when working on the
machine for longer periods of time without ear
protection.
In addition, in spite of all the precautionary
measures taken, non-obvious residual risks can still
exist.

2.8 Normal intended use

38. This agitator is suited for DIY work for mixing
liquid and powdery building material such as:
paints, mortar, adhesives, plaster, grouting
compounds, knifing fillers, coating compounds.
39. This machine must not be used
- As a drilling machine or as a drive for other
devices
- For polishing, grinding, sharpening, and
engraving with any attachments.
