    Setting the KeyChoice Switch to Operate in Reverse An interlock feature on the tractor prevents the power take off (PTO) from operating when backing up. If you shift into reverse with the PTO engaged (i.e., with mower blades or other attachment running), the engine will stop. Do not mow in reverse unless absolutely necessary.
