If the pressure indicator is not visible, the cooker is no longer under pressure.

The pressure cooker and pressure cooker lid should be cleaned thoroughly using hot water on each occasion before use. If after the first boiling, white spots should form on the bottom of the cooker, these are caused by extreme hardness of the water.
