Before using for the first time, check the farm jack for proper function. Do not
use the farm jack if damages or missing parts are noticed.
Position the farm jack that way to avoid handling under the load.
Make sure the farm jack and the load are securely positioned. Please note
that the farm jack cannot stabilize and move the load safely. An unsafe
standing position may result in sliding of the farm jack.
Make sure the load is securely positioned on the lifting clamp and that the
load cannot slip over.
Never work under a lifted load, e. g. a vehicle, if you do not take additional
safety measures such as supporting by jack stands, blocking the wheels etc.,
to avoid inadvertent rolling, slipping or tilting of the vehicle. Secure the vehicle
against inadvertent rolling by using the handbrake and switch off the engine.
Please note that working under a vehicle is very dangerous even if the vehicle
is supported by the farm jack and secured by additional supports. Always be
careful and observe throughout the jacking operation if there are any possible
movements.
For choosing the right vehicle lifting point recommended by the vehicle
manufacturer, please take the vehicle handbook. Please Note: Wrong posi-
tioning of the farm jack may tilt or damage the vehicle! Do not lift vehicles, if
there is risk of spillage of fuel, battery acid or other dangerous substances.
Make sure that there are no passengers in the vehicle and persons keep a
safe distance to the vehicle while the farm jack is in use.
Warning! For proper operation while lowering the load, the farm jack must be
loaded with at least 75 kg. If the applied load is less than 75 kg, the reversing
latch ( ) will abruptly lower the lifting clamp! Be very careful!
Make sure that there are no persons under the load when lowering the load.
Avoid lowering the load too fast in order to avoid damaging the farm jack and
the load.
When lowering the load hold the lever firmly in your hand to avoid uncon-
trolled movement of the lever.
When working with the farm jack and particularly when lifting a load, do not
grasp with the hand into the mechanism of the farm jack. Do not grasp the
steel bar and do not lean against the farm jack.
If the farm jack becomes damaged, do not use it furthermore and have it
repaired by a professional or contact our support department.
