NOTES
The radio supports standard audio files
(files with .CDA extensios) as well as MP3
files (files with .MP3 as extension).
It also supports ISO 9660 standard 8.3
character file system (for example filename
.MP3) and Joliet file system, wich is an
extension of the ISO 9660 that permits file
names up to 128 characters.
For MP3 tracks, the ID3 tag information will
be displayed: Artist-Album-Song Title
(Scrolling feature).
It is important to take into account that:
- If artist name is not present, nothing will
be shown instead.
- If Album name is not present, then folder
name will be shown.
- If Song title is no present, the name of the
file will be shown.
- If ID3 tag version 1.x is not present, then
folder name and file name will be shown.
- The radio supports both CD-R and CD-
RW discs that have greater than 60 %
reflectivity and will decode and play MP3
files recorded at any defined bit rate from 8
kbits/seconds to 320 kbits/second as well
as variable bit rates.
The file management system allows
combinations of folders and 65535 files.
The system is also be capable of
supporting a disc that was recorded using
no file folders, that is, a disc where all the
files are located in the root directory.

CD maintenance
- Do not drop the CDs.
- Keep the Cds free of dirt or stains that
could impair the optics of the mechanism.
- Do not apply stickers or labels on the
CDs.
- Do not write on the CDs.
- Keep Cds away from excessive heat and
direct sun light.
- Clean Cds using a clean dry cloth, from
the center to the edge.
- Keep unused Cds in their corresponding
protective cases.
