Maintenance
!
Always switch off the electricity supply before
carrying out any cleaning or servicing operations on
the appliance.
!
To avoid possible risks of fire always comply with
the indicated instructions when cleaning grease
filters and when removing grease deposits from the
appliance.
Careful maintenance will assure good functioning and
good efficiency over time.

Cleaning the hood

Any fat deposits should be removed from the appliance
periodically depending on amount of use (at least every
2 months). Avoid using abrasive or corrosive products.
To clean painted appliances on the outside, use a cloth
dipped in lukewarm water and neutral detergent. To
clean steel, copper or brass appliances on the outside,
it is always best to use specific products, following the
instructions on the products themselves. To clean the
inside of the appliance, use a cloth (or brush) dipped in
denatured ethyl alcohol.

Replacing the lamps

Disconnect the power supply before replacing the
lamp.
Remove the light by loosening the fixing screws.
Unscrew the lamp and replace it with a lamp of the
same type.

Cleaning the grease filters

To access the grease filters, remove the metal grille by
moving the two stops towards the inside of the
apparatus.
Remove the filter blocks (F) and extract the grease
filter.
The grease filter may be metallic or synthetic
depending on the model you have purchased:
The metallic filter must be periodically CLEANED
according to use (at least every two months) and is
washed with a neutral detergent.
The synthetic filter (white), however, should be
REPLACED (also according to use and at least every
two months).
