2-1.2 Setting Up the FireWire 1394dock for Operation LED Indicators Power +5V +12V External Power Connector Power On/Off Switch FireWire 1394 Connectors FireWire 1394dock Power Switch & Connector Locations Perform the following steps (in the order given) to set up the FireWire 1394dock with your peripheral device for operation: 1. - Page 7 2. Using the +5V/+12V AC/DC Power Adapter: a. With the power switch in the OFF position, plug in the 6-pin connector-end of the power adapter into its corresponding +5V/+12V power-in connector on the FireWire 1394dock. b. Plug one end of the power cord into the power adapter and the other end into an AC power source outlet.
