To ensure that Human Touch
®
products are repaired in a manner that is fully consistent with the practices used during the manufacturing process, Human Touch requires that all
product repairs are performed using only factory-new parts and in accordance with these product repair instructions.
Tools Required: 6 mm hex wrench – ball end recommended, Phillips-head screw driver (for replacing the vibration
unit only), ratchet (recommended), pliers, nail clipper or other instrument suitable for cutting zip ties.
NOTE: SAVE ALL REMOVED PARTS FOR USE DURING REASSEMBLY
GET READY
1. Plug in the chair and power it on.
2. Use the remote control to fully deploy the foot and calf massager.
Note: Deploying the foot and calf massager makes it easier to access the lower
front armrest screw. However, if the foot and calf massager cannot be deployed,
skip this step. An alternate method of accessing this screw is described later
in this procedure.
REMOVING THE ARMREST
1. Power off the chair and unplug it.
2. Lift up on the front of the seat pad just enough to release the hook and loop
fasteners on the underside of the pad. There is a strip on the front, and two underneath.
Be careful not to pull out the cables that connect the back of the seat pad.
3. Flip the seat pad up against the backrest (Fig.1).
4. Unzip the side zippers to expose the armrest connection to the chair base (Fig.2).
