Operation - Inflation

1.
Start the vehicle (or switch on power source). Insert the DC plug (G) into the 12V
socket.
2.
Connect the Air Hose (I) to the Inflation Port (A). Rotate the blue collar to screw
the air hose onto the threaded inflation port until secure (do not overtighten).
3.
Insert the other end of the hose into the item that requires inflation using the
appropriate nozzle adapter. Dometic AIR awnings, tents and party tents can
use either the screw-on adapter (K) or the push-fit adapter (L) as indicated in
the Parts Identification section. The screw-on adapter has been designed by
Dometic for easy but secure fitment as it screws onto the valve and is more
suited to products with a single inflation point.
4.
The pressure mode can be changed by pressing button (C) in order to select
either 'PSI', 'BAR' or 'KPa'. Keep pressing until the required mode is shown on
the display.
5.
Set the desired pressure by using the + and - buttons (D & E). The pressure that
can be set ranges from 0 to 12.5 PSI (0-0.861 BAR/0-86.1 KPa). Press and hold
the + or - buttons to alter the pressure shown quickly or press and release the
buttons to adjust the pressure in increments of 0.5 PSI. The pump is factory set
at 10 PSI (0.689 BAR/68.9 KPa). After the first use, the last pressure used will be
displayed.
6.
The optimum pressure for Dometic AIR awnings is 9 PSI (0.62 BAR/62 KPa).
Dometic AIR tents and travel pods should be inflated to between 7-8PSI (0.48-
0.55 BAR/48-55 KPa). Dometic inflatable Party Tents should be inflated to
between 8-9 PSI (0.55-0.62 BAR/55-62 KPa).
7.
Press the Start/Stop button (F) to begin inflation. Note: If no buttons have been
pressed for 30 seconds the unit will go into standby mode; simply press any
button to activate the unit.
8.
Once the pre-set pressure is reached, the pump will switch off automatically.
Note: At first it will take time for the pressure reading on the LCD display to
increase. This is normal as, initially, a large volume of air is needed to fill the
AirFrame before any significant change in pressure is detected.
9.
Remove the hose from the valve.
10.
Turn off the vehicle or other 12V power source and disconnect the 12V plug.
Note: If you need to stop pump operation at any time press the Start/Stop
button (F).
