Instructions

Thank you for purchasing the Dometic Gale pump. For safety reasons and to maximise
the performance of this product, ensure that you read these instructions before use.
Please retain these instructions for future reference.
This pump is designed for inflatables such as awnings and tents and will automatically
cut-out when the preset pressure is achieved.

Important

• This pump must only be used with a DC 12 Volt power supply.
• To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not use in wet conditions or submerge in any
liquid. Store in a dry place.
• Do not direct air stream at face or body.
• Keep the inflation port free of any obstruction during use. Ensure the pump has
adequate ventilation during use.
• Do not attempt to put any object/implement into the port at any time. This is
dangerous during use but can also damage the internal pump mechanisms.
• Keep out of reach of children. Keep children and pets away from the pump whilst
in operation. Do not allow the pump to be operated by persons unfamiliar with the
product.
• This pump uses a pressure induction system with a margin of error ±0.5 PSI.
• Do not operate the pump continuously for longer than 15 minutes as the motor may
overheat and cause internal damage. Allow the pump to cool down for 30 minutes
after 15 minutes of continuous use.
• Do not leave the pump unattended whilst in operation. Pay attention in order to
ensure over-inflation does not occur that could cause damage to your inflatable
item.
• Do not use with any accessory or attachments other than those originally included
or recommended by Dometic.
• Do not use this pump if any part is damaged in any way. This product has no user
serviceable parts. Do not attempt any repair.
• Please check that the 12 Volt power source socket is functioning correctly. Ensure
the pump is not damaged and has no rust, residue or foreign matter inside.
