4 Configuration (Command Line Mode)
Run ipaddress static ip-address subnet-mask default-gateway to set a fixed IP
address.
Run ipaddress dhcp to obtain an IP address through DHCP. (A DHCP server is
required.)
Run pppoe username user-name password password to set the PPPoE user name
and password, and then run ipaddress pppoe to obtain an IP address through
PPPoE. (A PPPoE server is required, and the user name and password need to be
set as the same as that on the PPPoE server.)
You can run display ipaddress to view the IP address of the IAD.
Changing the IP address may disconnect the Telnet connection. Then, you should establish
the Telnet connection again with the new IP address.
Step 3
Run the sip server index address ip-address domain user-domain-name command to
set the SIP server and the user domain name. The IP address of the SIP server is
191.168.10.20 and the user domain name is sichuan.chinamobile.com.
TERMINAL(config)#sip server 0 address 191.168.10.20 domain
sichuan.chinamobile.com
If the prompt "Failure: Execution of command failed! Please undo the auto mode first"
appears, run undo sip server auto to cancel the automatic mode of obtaining SIP
server information, and set the IP address of the SIP server again.
In IMS network, you can run the sip server auto command to make the IAD automatically
obtain the IP address of P-CSCF (ie SIP server) through DHCP, or run the dns srv command
to parse the IP addresses of SIP servers through SRV service on a DNS server.
Step 4
Run the sip soft-parameter command to configure the SIP software parameters.
The SIP software parameter configuration depends on the actual situation. The
following configuration is only an example.
Enter the advanced mode.
TERMINAL(config)#advanced
Use the user name for authentication.
TERMINAL(advanced-config)#sip soft-parameter auth-username name
Turn on the switch of the Tel URL. TelURL is a type of address in SIP protocol (ie
+86-13612345678), which differs from SIPURL (ie wangwang@traveller.com).
TERMINAL(advanced-config)#sip soft-parameter support-telurl on
Select new service control mode as local control to support forwarding new service
invite mode.
TERMINAL(advanced-config)#sip soft-parameter new-service-mode local
Turn on the green call service switch.
TERMINAL(advanced-config)#sip soft-parameter support-in-band-dtmf on
Return to the global configuration mode.
