- Page 4 LEGACY MACHINE SPLIT ESCAPEMENT OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 1. WINDING Your watch is equipped with a manual winding movement. If it has stopped, wind the crown clockwise in the “In” position, until you reach the maximum power reserve capacity as shown by the power reserve indicator (A).

Push the crown back against the case when finished. • The hands can be turned forwards or backwards at any time, but it is best to avoid moving them back through more than 20 hours.
