Upgrade procedure

Upgrade-Procedure:

1. If you have not done so already, please connect the DVD-

1730 to a monitor using either the Composite or S-Video

connections (Page 14 of the user manual) then turn on the

player and monitor.

2. Please ensure that you do not have any discs currently

inside the player and the draw is closed.

3. On the remote control, press the following buttons in order,

9, 8, 7, 6 and then Search Mode.

4. The draw should open automatically. Place the update disc

on the tray and then close the draw.

5. The update procedure takes approximately 5 minutes.

Please do not press any buttons or switch off the player.

6. Once the update has finished the draw will open

automatically.

Remove the update disc from the tray, unplug the DVD-1730 from the

mains then back in again.

Notes:

Your player's settings will have been returned to their factory defaults.

Please re-configure the player (User manual page 26) to your

requirements.

Denon do not advise the loading of any non-official firmware into your

DVD player.

Doing so could compromise the features and performance of

your player.
