If this number were to drop beneath 12.0v with no load (i.e. no accessories running on the OPUS®) then it is highly likely all the appliances inside your camper would stop working as the batteries are not able to put out enough voltage to keep these appliances running.

SETTING UP YOUR OP15 cont. STEP 8 - Use the push-buttons to open the rear panel securing locks. Lift the back panel upwards to the roof position. WARNING! Please note that this panel will not yet remain in this position without completing the next step. STEP 9 - Using one hand or a helper to hold the roof panel up, pull and rotate the spring bolt that secures the side panel until it is in the vertical position.

SETTING UP YOUR OP15 cont. STEP 14 - Open the two push-button latches and fold down the kitchen door. Unhook the two locking spring-bolts and slide your kitchen out. Quick-connect your water and gas at the kitchen connection points and the quick connects on the side of the OP15. Please see the sections on the Gas System, Water system and the Kitchen for more information on setting up the kitchen.
120 VOLT & 12 VOLT POWER 120 Volt Shore Power Connection Safe operating procedures The OP15 comes fitted with a 120 volt power system. This 120 Volt power system complies with NFPA and NEC regulations. The hookup for the 120v is located outside on the driver-side of the OP15.

120 VOLT & 12 VOLT POWER cont. 12 Volt Battery Power cont. Exterior Motorized Main Rear Light Step Interior Light On the control panel you will find the main 12v ON/OFF switch. There are sepa- rate switches for the following 12volt operated appliances and systems in the OP15: Fridge, Sockets, Lights, Water Pump.
Do NOT use bleach to sanitize the tanks as they are stainless steel and it will cause corrosion. Please see the OPUS Care & Maintenance section of this manual for more information on sanitizing your water system. Failure to maintain your tank can result in death or serious injury.

WATER SYSTEM CONT. Draining your potable water tanks Located on each potable water tank you will find a draining valve at the lowest point of the tank. Ensure that the gas bottle valve is closed prior to packing up the OP15 for transit or storage, the quick connect valve on the side of the OP15 has been closed and that the gas hose has been disconnected from the side of the OPUS and carefully stowed inside the kitchen.

THE FRONT LOCKER COMPARTMENT, EVEN WHEN THE OPUS® IS STATIONARY. IMPORTANT! PLEASE CONSULT THE OPUS TEAM BEFORE COMPLETING ANY REPAIRWORK ON THE GAS SYSTEM: THE PROPANE SYSTEM INSTALLED INCLUDES A 2-STAGE REGULATOR. THE REGULATOR MUST ALWAYS BE INSTALLED WITH THE VENT FACING DOWNWARDS.
TRUMA COMBI HOT WATER & HEAT SYSTEM Truma Combi Hot Water & Heating System The OP15 comes with the Truma combi eco hot water & heating system installed. This system is run off of your 12v power and propane gas supply. The system will provide hot water for your shower, bathroom and kitchen sink as well as forced hot air into the trailer.
SETTING UP YOUR OP15 AWNING Girard 8’ Manually Retractable Sun Awning The OP15 Sun awning is a manually deployed 8’ sun awning designed to provide shade over the kitchen area. You will find the supplied manual awning crank arm in the exterior slide out bin of your OP15. To set up your awning: 1.
OP15 KITCHEN Kitchen Features & Set Up Your OP15 kitchen is located on the door-side of the trailer in a slide-out compartment. The compartment is secured with lockable push-button latches. The kitchen slide-out is held in place with spring-bolt locking pins. To open up the kitchen, pull the spring- bolts in and turn them so they catch and stay open then slide the kitchen out to its full extension.

BATHROOM Toilet The OP15 toilet is a two-step flush toilet, connected to the potable water tank. In order to flush the toilet, first push the pedal (located on the right-hand side of the toilet base) down HALF WAY. This will fill the toilet bowl with water from your potable tank. Next, push the pedal down all the way to empty the toilet bowl.
Please refer to the TV manual for further information on setting up your TV. Please note that the TV channels do not come pre-set so you may need to set the TV up to scan for local channels. This may apply for each journey you take in the OPUS, depending on channel coverage.

To release, gently pull them apart. Please ensure that the skylight is closed when rain is expected. Do not leave your OP15 unattended with the skylight open. Do not store your OPUS with the skylight open.
9. Turn off your propane at the tank. Disconnect your water and gas quick connects. Make sure the valves on the side of the OPUS are turned and retracted to the off position. Replace the dust covers as required. Stow the water hoses and retract the gas hose fully into the kitchen aperture.
OP15 then after new parts are installed as part of your maintenance schedule. Your OP15 brakes should be adjusted after the first 200 miles then every 3000 miles after that. We highly recommend that all break adjustments, maintenance and servicing is carried out by a qualified technician at your OPUS dealership. CAUTION! You may need to adjust your brakes more frequently dependent on variations in cargo weights.

• Inspect the outside panels of your OPUS® including the roof for any damage, cracks or wear. Proper maintenance of seals is necessary to keep moisture from entering and causing severe damage such as rot, mold or mildew. If you find dry, cracked or weathered seals, reseal or replace as necessary.

• The cushions in your OPUS® camper are durable and simply require proper care and use. • Clean off stains and dirt on the cushions as soon as they occur; this can easily be done using a damp cloth. Avoid soaking the cushions or prolonged exposure to water and ensure they are thoroughly dry before packing the camper.

OPUS CARE & MAINTENANCE cont. Potable Water Tanks Please ensure you sanitize, flush and drain the water tanks before first use and after any period of storage. To maintain the cleanliness of your potable water tanks please ensure all water is flushed from your potable water tanks after each trip or every two weeks when in use.

If you are on-site camping and connecting to a campground sewer we recommend keeping the tanks drain valve closed until you need to drain to assisting in purging the tank of solid waste. Follow the OPUS tips for best results when using your OP15 toilet.

OPUS CARE & MAINTENANCE cont. Greasing and Servicing The electrical and propane systems will need to be checked over by an RV service technician. The lug nut torque requirements are 100ft lbs. WARNING! Never use the levelling jacks to lift the trailer completely from the ground for any reason including servicing, repair work or tire changes.

Winterizing your batteries/ long periods of storage We have spec’d the Opus so you have the ability to leave your Opus plugged in without the need to remove the 30ah cable. We have done this because the CO Alarm is hard wired to your batteries and therefore your batteries will supply a constant current to this appliance.
