MAINTENANCE
Clean the product regularly to maintain opti-
mal performance and to prevent possible
breakdown.
* This may not be provided, depending on the
model.
CAUTION

• Turn off the power and unplug the
power cord before you perform any
maintenance; otherwise it may cause
electric shock.
• Never use water that is hotter than
40°C when you clean the filters. It may
cause deformation or discoloration.
• Never use volatile substances when
you clean the filters. They may damage
the surface of the product.
• Do not washed the 3M filter with
water, because the filter can be dam-
aged.
Auto clean operation
This function restricts the growth of fungus
and germs living within the air conditioner by
drying the inside of the air conditioner.
* Auto clean operation is canceled when the
product is purchased.

• Auto clean operation runs the fan in the air
conditioner for a certain number of hours
after the operation stops so that the hu-
midity inside the indoor unit is removed
and prevents the growth of fungus.
Air purifying filter
TVF filter, charcoal deodorizer filter and 3M
HEPA filter blocks the virus, bacteria, odor and
dust.

TVF filter (Total anti-Virus Filter)
- Replacement cycle: 6 months (Cannot be
washed)
- Various types of viruses are quickly de-
composed using the lactobacillus ex-
tracted from Kimchi, Korean traditional
food.

Charcoal deodorizer filter.
- Replacement cycle: 6 months (Cannot be
washed)
- Indoor odor can effectively be removed
by applying the neutral catalytic active
charcoal.

3M HEPA filter
- Replacement cycle: 6 months (Cannot be
washed)
- Find dust particles can be removed up to
99.97% by applying the high efficiency
HEPA filter from 3M.

Dual protection filter
- Replacement cycle: Semi-permanent
(Can be washed)
- By applying the microfiber dual protection
filter, it not only filters the large dust but
also fine dust particles.
