4. Install three batteries in the compartment as
indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and -)
marked inside.
5. Replace the cover.

Using Rechargeable Batteries

You can also use three rechargeable batteries
(Ni-MH) to power your scanner. Before you use
rechargeable batteries, make sure the batteries are
fully charged.
