Warning
1. The file read has length 0. This warning is reported for READ or
QUEUE-READ.
2. The MDS was outside the transmission window during command processing
or a change of MDS has occurred (one MDS has left and another has
entered the transmission window).
Caution
!
An MDS leaves the transmission window and then reenters: the
command will be processed correctly. All data on the MDS are OK.
One MDS leaves the transmission window and another enters. Error
condition; the user must assume the data read are corrupt. In the
case of a write command, it must be assumed that a file is corrupt on
both MDSs or that the total file structure on the second MDS was
destroyed.
Only MOBY I:
When the ECC driver is on (INPUT parameter
"ECC mode" = TRUE), the bit indicates that the data read by
the MDS have been corrected. ANZ_ECC is not an error
message since the data are okay. ANZ_ECC is an indication
that the MDS memory just processed may soon fail completely.
This bit only applies to MOBY I with MDS 507. It indicates that a dialog battery
of the MDS 507 is dead. With all other MDSs, this bit can assume any state.
Only with MOBY I with RAM-MDS: The support battery of the RAM-MDS is
below the threshold value. Although, at room temperature, it will continue
functioning with its remaining capacity for several months, we recommend
changing the MDS's battery immediately or, when its battery cannot be
changed, replacing the entire MDS.
The FC 56 sets this bit when a command is not concluded correctly. The error
bit accumulates all errors. The exact cause of the error is indicated in the
variable error_code (see chapter 3.3 or 9). A new start of a command resets the
error bit.
Note
An error message can flag the current MDS directory and FAT in the filehandler
as invalid. This always happens if the fault occurred while processing the
directory. It may be necessary to read the directory and FAT when the next MDS
is processed. If this delay is to be avoided, the user must send the MDS
directory and FAT to the filehandler by issuing the LOAD command after every
error message.
Finished message: After ready = TRUE was reported, error bit = FALSE must
still be scanned. This ensures that the command was processed correctly.
The ready bit does not have to be set before init_run can be
Remember
started.
